Dutch Ovens are incredibly versatile for outdoor and campfire cookery and ideal for forest schools. This 8.5l dutch oven can be used over an open campfire, on a gas ring or buried in coals. These heavy-duty cooking pots are built to last, can serve a lifetime and may well be the only pot you will ever need.

Our cast-iron dutch ovens come fitted with strong wire handles for transportation or for removing the pot from the fire without the risk of burn injuries. Each of our dutch ovens come pre-seasoned but we recommend re-seasoning. These highly versatile cooking pots are great for camping trips and forest school classes and can be used to cook virtually anything. You can roast, bake, stew, fry, boil and broil so you can prepare anything from a traditional English breakfast to a full roast dinner and everything in-between.

This solid pot could be the only cooking vessel you ever need for your outdoor kitchen. Versatility, build-quality and long-life durability ensure you will get many years of service from our dutch ovens. This 8.5l model weighs approximately 9kg and has enough capacity to cook for medium-size groups.

"Recently purchased 2 of these for work after using one at a 'sharing' day. Arrived very quickly, (I'm sure the delivery person appreciated the warning 20kg message on the parcel!). Very impressed with design - good rim round well-fitting lid to allow coals to be piled on top, main lifting handle stays cool, lid handle deep enough to get a strong stick through for lifting (I didn't buy the bespoke item). Trial menu included pizza followed by carrot cake in orange skins - both brilliant :) Looking forward to many more delicious meals from this brilliant pot."
