Edgeless Knife Blades For Knife Making
Knife making is a great fun past time, for both adults, and youngsters, especially for scouts and cadets. Making your own knife is generally a very difficult process that very few can do, due to the specialist tools and knowledge required to make and treat your own blades, so unless you're blessed with your own forge and specialist knowledge your options are limited in terms of blade choice. And this is where our blanks with no edge come in perfectly.
Edgeless Blades for Knife Making
Our edgeless blades are known as Aihiot, a word that comes from the Finnish term 'aihio', meaning a 'work in progress', or any work that is not yet finished. Having no edge means that these blades are excellent for knife making projects because it puts you in full control when adding the type of grind to your blade. You simply need to add your own choice of handle (check out our options) and then sharpen the blade. Each blade has been treated and hardened, so the very difficult processes have been pre-done.
