Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes, we do. If you're a school or charitable organisation you may send a purchase order to us. Please view our ‘Trade Account’ page.
How much does postage cost?
Typically the cost is £5.99 for standard shipping (UK, non-restricted postcodes), with a free option for orders over £70. B2B orders will be charged differently. Some (but very few) items may incur a surcharge.

Can I place an order via telephone?
Yes, you may, but for speed of service, we recommend ordering online.
Do you ship worldwide?
No, we no longer ship internationally. If it's single products, then we may be able to recommend smaller independent retailers/individuals that will.
Where's my stuff?
Goods usually leave us within 1-7 business days. Depending on the postage method you have chosen.
Discounts
If you intend on placing a large order, or would like to order products in their box quantities, then we're happy to discuss discounts for those paying in advance of delivery.
Do you have a shop that I may visit your shop?
We no longer accept visits and are online only.
Where’s my receipt / Invoice?
We now email these to you at the time you place your order.

Can you source products that are not on your website?
Forest School Shop is owned and run by Oaks Online Shopping Company, and our parent company are official stockists and distributors for many outdoor brands, and other unusual and hard-to-find outdoor products. So, we like to think of ourselves as a one-stop-shop. We own several warehouses filled with thousands of different lines of outdoor equipment, so it's always worth checking with us before looking elsewhere. We're usually able to offer better prices than our competitors too!
May I change my delivery address after placing my order?
At the time of placing your order, you will be given the choice to have your order delivered to a different address. After your order is placed we are not able to change your delivery details.
Do you offer next day delivery?
No, we have decided to offer fewer delivery options to limit the amount of HGV's that collect our parcels. We do this for environmental reasons.
Do you recycle packaging materials?
We try to be as green as possible, so we may send goods out in pre-used boxes and use as many alternative packaging materials as we can. This is not always possible, but at least 70% of materials we use are recycled or ethically sourced. If we use non-eco-friendly materials to ship your order in, then the chances are we are reusing materials that have come in to us.
How quickly do you respond to email?
We kindly ask that you allow up to 7 business days for a response - but it's usually much sooner!

What is a Forest School?
Forest Schools are a new and exciting educational approach to outdoor play and discovery, in which children and adults build new-found confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning in a calming woodland setting.
Do I need to be 18 to buy knives and tools?
Yes, and we do verify your age before sending goods out. It is illegal to attempt to purchase age-restricted goods if you are not of legal age to purchase them.
