Description

A pooter is a simple, yet effective insect catching device (sometimes named an aspirator) which is the perfect choice for capturing very small mini-beasts which are otherwise very difficult to catch without harming them. Bug hunting is a fun and very rewarding activity for children, one that exposes them to the wonders of nature and all the small creatures that would otherwise remain hidden. A pooter is inexpensive and very simple to use. Simply point the clear tube in the direction of the insect and suck the green tube to delicately capture the insect into the containing bug pot. There is no danger of inhaling the small insects due to the clever design. Pooters for Mini-Beast Hunts and Entomology Pooters are not just for children, they are an important scientific tool for the study of insects, known as entomology. Entomologists frequently use pooters when researching, monitoring and attempting to discover new species of tiny insects and bugs.
