Forest School Den Building Kit
Encourage outdoor discovery with the Forest School Shop Den Building Kit. Combining a shelter tarp, paracord, tent pegs and a rubber mallet, this practical kit gives children the equipment to explore den building with adult supervision.
Ideal for forest school sessions, outdoor learning and garden adventures, the kit can be used alongside suitable trees and natural materials to create different shelter layouts. Children can practise knot tying, explore shelter shapes and work together to build their own outdoor hideaway, developing creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills through hands-on play.
What’s included?
- 1 × shelter tarp – camouflage or green, depending on available stock.
- 1 × 50m reel of paracord – for practising knots and securing the shelter.
- 10 × tent pegs – for pegging out the tarp and securing guy lines.
- 1 × rubber tent peg mallet – for driving pegs into suitable ground.
Optional tarp poles
Building a den where suitable trees or other supports are limited? Tarp poles are available as an optional extra. Select the kit option with poles from the dropdown menu if required. Poles are not pictured and are not included with the standard kit.
Colour variations: Tarp colour and paracord colour may vary from those shown. Tarps are supplied in camouflage or green, and cord in olive, blue or red, but all are subject to availability.
Children must be supervised by an adult during setup and use, particularly when handling cord, tent pegs and the mallet.
