New from Boonies Outdoor are 'Super Size' Forest School Tarps. Currently, these super-sized tarpaulins are made to order. Therefore, they are excluded from our 30 days returns policy, and there is a 7-14 business day turnaround time for orders to dispatch.

SUPER SIZE FOREST SCHOOL TARPS

Each tarp measures a massive 4.5 x 6m (larger sizes coming soon). Please bear in mind that these are made from a very heavy and thick waxed canvas material, and are designed to be used with a framed teaching area. This model weighs around 25KG, and is very tough and hard-wearing - with excellent abrasion and puncture resistance. Canvas is a much harder wearing alternative to the standard lighter materials. Each tarpaulin is wax-processed, meaning they resist water. But over time, much like a wax jacket, they will need re-treating (an easy process). The tarps are not designed to be used as a permanent feature, but they may still be used for prolonged periods of time. However, when storing them they MUST be 100% dry to avoid mould growth. Before using for the first time, we recommend laying on a grassy area (not concrete as this can degrade canvas) - wet, and allow to dry. There will be a tiny amount of shrinkage, but this ensures your tarp will perform at its best.
