Light My Fire produces some of the world's best firesteels. The second generation Swedish Army Firesteel is the largest of the range, boasting a thick ferro rod that is capable of producing a massive shower of hot sparks to light up to 12,000 fires in its lifetime. The Army Firesteel was originally developed for the Swedish Department of Defense and is now used by many Special Forces, hunters, bushcrafters, survival experts and campers around the world. 

The striker also incorporates a whistle for emergency signalling. Light My Fire Army Firesteel is great fun to use, and even has its place at home for lighting barbeques and log burners. Firesteels are safe for children to use (with adult supervision) and also form an important skill for scouts and bushcrafters to learn.
