Here at the Forest School Shop we offer a fast service and pack thousands of products each and every week. On these pages, you will find all of the important delivery details that you will need to select the appropriate delivery service for you.
Forest School Shop shows prices including VAT as standard - the prices outlined in the tables below will show including VAT for ease. You can toggle between different views using the VAT feature (top right hand of the website).
All parcels are sent to the address provided at the time of the checkout, or if using Paypal as your payment choice then we will deliver to the address that Paypal provide to us. It is vital that you keep these details current.
Below we have provided a table detailing shipping methods used, along with an estimate of delivery timescales. These are to be used as a guide, and whilst the vast majority of orders shall arrive on time, there are, on occasions times when events beyond our control may delay delivery.
In the rare event of a lost parcel, we will require up to 14 business days before being able to replace or credit for any lost goods.
Due to the nature of some of the goods that we supply, please also bear in mind that we have to carry out age validation checks on anyone purchasing restricted goods, such as knives or saws. If this is the first time you’ve placed an order for age-restricted goods from us, there may be an additional delay in your first shipment whilst we validate your credentials, regardless of the method chosen.
Business to business orders placed with us via telephone, email or post, may be charged at different rates to those shown below. The prices stated below are for orders placed and completed online.
UK Delivery Service Options
* Standard Free Service [Free above £70.00 as an option] - is available to all of the United Kingdom and parcels are sent by Royal Mail or non-express services. This method sometimes requires a signature upon delivery. This is a no-rush service and may take 5-9 business days to arrive (sooner when we're less busy).
** Standard - Typically sent with Royal Mail or non-express services. Typically arrives within 3-4 business days.
*** Depending on the size of your order, we will typically use Royal Mail Special Delivery or one of our carriers. If using this service, please place your online order by 13:00 (UK Time) between Monday and Thursday. This service excludes weekends and all public holidays. Please note: Highlands and Islands deliveries sometimes take longer to arrive. If you choose this method when we are closed, on weekends or Public Holidays then we will dispatch first thing upon our return to business.
**** Saturday delivery is available to mainland UK addresses but must be placed by 12:00 (noon, UK Time) on a Friday (excludes public Holiday's).
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have ordered age-restricted goods we need to verify your identification and date of birth. This is usually a swift and easy process, but on occasions may take longer. It is vital that you supply a valid contact number and email address that you check frequently as if we need to speak with you and can't, your order may be placed on hold.
† Standard delivery to within the EU may be sent via Royal Mail or our chosen carriers. It's important to note that you are responsible when importing goods, so please always check your current laws. Also be aware that on occasions we have to cancel some items from these order if they are regarded as dangerous goods or if there are any other restrictions on them when we come to ship your order. In these cases, we will contact you and offer a replacement product or a full refund.

Rest of World
‡ Rest of World. This means all other countries that we currently ship to. You can find if your country is included by adding products to the shopping basket and scrolling through the options.
Some goods and brand names may be restricted within your country and as a result, there may be times when we have to refuse your order. In these rare instances, we will contact you at the email address provided offering an alternative solution or full refund.
